Description:
This is a very peaceful temple having a beautiful idol of Sai Baba. Every Thursday this temple conducts Saibaba’s Palki Yatra. Palki Yatra goes through a fixed route through Dwarakapuri Colony and Hindi Colony. Palki Yatra starts at sharp 7:30 from the temple and comes back to the temple by around 8 pm. Palki is quite heavy that is carried on the right shoulder by 2 people(one in front and one in back). One person carries the umbrella over the palki, yet another person keeps fanning the idol of baba on the palanquin.
A group of carnatic musicians lead the palki, followed by a devotees who keep chanting Om Sai Rama Om Sai Rama.
Sai Baba Temple, Dwarakapuri Colony provides free medical consultation by many renouned doctors of different specialities. It has a physiotherapy center, pathological center and also free pharmacy.
Rama Navami is Celebrated on a Grand Scale with free food served to thousands of people every year.
